My Current Approach to Tension Type Headaches + Stomach Tension
Background
For the past years since I started worked in 2022, I had Tension Headaches and Stomach Pain/Tension. It's mostly due to stress and posture. I decided to take action this year in 2026. This has what's been helping me a bunch. I'm still hurting / feeling sore, but I've gone from a 8/10 --> 4/10 using this approach in the past year.
Physical Therapy and Acupuncture are the TOP 2 things that have helped me!

Physical Therapy
My exercises:
- Cat/Cow
- Thoracic Extension
- Thread the Needle
- Chin Tuck
- Scalene Stretch
- Prone Scap Stretch with UE Lift
- Prone T
- Shoulder ER with Band and elevation
- Serratus Wall Slide - Elastic Band
- Prone W
Acupuncture
- Target head/neck/forehead
- Target stomach (probably the "Liver" Meridian)
Exercise
- Running
- Gym
Vacation / Rest
- Don't bring home laptop or even backpack from work
- Change mindset --> positive, flexibility, changing perspective, gratefulness.
